People, Culture & Inclusion Manager for the University of Surrey, hear from him directly regarding his experience collaborating with Anne:

Anne is that most useful person – someone I can throw stuff at that I can’t deal with. The complicated cases, where internal politics mean that any solution is going to be tough; difficult cases where people involved don’t recognise there’s a problem to fix; fiery cases where communication has broken down completely. Her unconventional approach means that she is challenging assumptions even before she starts work. But most importantly, Anne believes that no one should be left behind and that the solutions are already in place if we allow space to look in the right place.

When I started a new role, Anne was the first coach I brought across. Her fresh insight and easy manner have been instrumental in repairing broken relationships, re-engaging demotivated colleagues and finding new ways forward. Don’t get me wrong and don’t allow her relaxed attitude deceive you – there is some hard theory and concepts backing up her approach, but they are hidden just enough so that you don’t get distracted and spend more time focussing on solutions.

Anne is reliable and effective, honest and transparent and the sort of person that every L&D professional should have around.
