About Anne
I am a creative facilitator, collaborator and coach, working with diverse cross-cultural communities. My offerings are built around an experiential learning core, and have evolved over the last decade through my work with individuals and groups in a variety of industries, including banking, insurance, publishing and media, the law and pharmaceuticals, academia, and the public and third sectors. Within these structures I see the individual or group as the subject experts, while my offerings help chart the best course from challenge to growth and change.
'I am a creative facilitator, collaborator, and coach, working with diverse cross-cultural communities.'
With a background in therapeutic practice, community theatre and language acquisition, my working environments have ranged from a woman’s refuge in San Francisco, through banking institutions in the City of London, and inner city primary schools.
Through the diversity and breadth of my acquired knowledge and learning I have developed deep and nuanced observational and intuitive skills, allowing me to understand the dynamics in a workshop and help navigate the tensions and divisions that can appear. I have grown my understanding of learning as a collaborative process based on shared experience and inclusive discovery.
'There is no path, the path is made by walking'
- Antonio Machado
My own journey has also equipped me to respond proactively to fluctuating external needs and developing trends. Maintaining my own intellectual and emotional curiosity has enabled me to meet challenges, grow new skills and embrace change.
This journey has also furnished me with an imaginative toolkit of innovative and collaborative ways to work with diverse communities. Such a toolkit allows me to confront old and outmoded ways of addressing challenges, and navigating flexible, responsive and inhabited change.
